Frequently Asked Questions

Do you accept insurance?

Yes, we currently accept CO Access Medicaid. We also accept Victim’s Compensation through Denver, Adams, Arapahoe and Jefferson Counties. For any other insurance, we are happy to provide a Superbill that you can submit for reimbursement (plan dependent).

What are your rates?

Standard fee for a 50 minute session is $160. Sessions last 50 minutes. We do offer a sliding scale based on individual need.  Please feel free to ask about this, if payment is a concern.

How do we start?

You’ll outreach us and set up an free 20 minute initial consultation in which we discuss any questions you may have and to see if we are the right fit.

What should I expect in my first session?

If you come to the office, you can make yourself comfortable in the waiting room and we will come out to get you at your session’s start time. If you are attending via telehealth, you’ll click the link that will be emailed to you, enter your name and join the session.

Once we’re together, the first session is about us getting to know each other. My hope in that session is to have a better understanding of your needs, the landscape of your world and also to help you get clear whether you want to work with me moving forward.

How often will we meet?

Generally, it is helpful to meet weekly in the beginning in order to build rapport and get some momentum in therapy. After that, we will have a conversation about what works for your needs- scheduling, finances, availability, etc.

What if I need to cancel?

We have a 24 hour cancellation policy, which means that you need to let us know at least 24 hours in advance if you need to cancel. Less than 24 hours notice, or no-showing on a session will result in a charge of the full session fee.
